This artist is in demand! Recently Cynthia Carter Hill opened for Regina Belle for three nights and brought the house to its feet!!! She proclaims the Good News in a unique blend of contemporary sounds that sets her apart from the crowd. The East Bay Review says. "She's a Rising Star to watch, beautiful to see and hear."

Excitement, love, joy, and intensity are some of the adjectives that have been used to describe the Cynthia Carter Hill music ministry. She has expressed that one of her greatest goals is to lead people to desire a more intimate relationship with God and to know His deep love and compassion for them.

A native of Toledo, Ohio, Cynthia Carter Hill began singing and directing church choirs at a very early age. Not only are her musical and vocal abilities a gift from God, she also is blessed to have had a father who was a lead singer for a variety of gospel groups that sang throughout the South and the Mid-west.
A songwriter as well as a recording artist, she has been inspiring and delighting Bay Area audiences since moving ten years ago from Chicago.

Cynthia has had the pleasure of performing for world renowned Dr. Maya Angelou; the writing and recording powerhouse Ashford and Simpson; opening for Jennifer Holliday; performing Carry the Flame, at the Winter Olympics Torch Ceremony. Also the Oakland Museum Golden Gala, Ladies In Red -Women's Empowerment Cruise, The LoveLife Foundation annual event, Children Now, Kaiser Foundation, KFAX sponsored Alameda County and San Mateo County Fairs, The Campaign Against AIDS, the Bay Area Black United Fund-San Francisco, Healthy Oakland-Save a Life campaign, and several churches throughout the country have been blessed by her talent.

Cynthia holds a masters degree in public administration with an emphasis on organizational change. She is dedicated to improving the spiritual life, overall health and living conditions for all people especially those in communities of color. She also does workshops on Entering Into The Presence of God, Living Life Passionately and motivational speaking seminars on Overcoming Overwhelm, Living Life on Purpose, The Road to Balance, and Prospering Through Change to name a few.

One of her greatest joys is raising daughter Jasmine with her husband Jim in Hayward, CA.
