Album Notes

Courtney C. Patty is a Singer/Songwriter that knows exactly how to touch her audience. With a voice that can evoke emotion for even the blackest of hearts, lyrics that touch upon feelings that everyone has had and music that beautifully adds to the experience that is listening to her, Courtney grabs the listener by the hand and takes them on a journey through her life and ultimately through their own.

Her sophomore effort "Waiting On The Universe" reflects upon the life experiences that she has had since the release of her first album. From the title track, which happens to be track one, all the way through the album her lyrics run the gamut of emotions and life experiences
while still holding on to the hope that the future will be beautiful.

"Waiting on the Universe" is an album that is lyrically interesting and musically inviting, with a positive message that is too rarely heard in popular music today.

Similar to Natalie Merchant, Shawn Colvin, or a more upbeat Jewel.
