Co-produced by the venerable Mark Lineberry and the band, this album features songs written by all four band members and recorded with an unmistakably live energy. There are many reasons why my friends and I LOVE CCRAILROADS Music and their CD..Smile Whatever... We enjoy hearing the Latino Rhythms--'Salsa' and Hispanic melodies that are portrayed in their songs. The music style of CCRAILROAD is both modern and old-fashioned. The style of their music covers...Modern, Folk and Blurgrass and even Rhythm and Blues. The music(songs) are selected to entertain ALL members of the family. This might sould funny..but the CD and all the other songs produced by the CCRAILROAD can be rated....'G'...for general audiences. This 'Versitility' in style is one of the main reasons why the audience they reach is all ages. Many bands today are not as talented or ambitious enough to compare to the music of CCRAILROAD. When it comes to performance...CCRAILROAD is Outstanding. All the shows we have gone to have been very very entertaining. When the CCRAILROAD performs...the audience becomes part of the show. I promise you..While listening to the CD..You will sing along and get up and dance. Not too many bands can make the audience or listeners of their songs on CD feel like they are part of the show or actually 'Participators' ... We give the CCRailROAD a 5-Stars Rating. Fantastic! A touching and enjoyable blend of styles!

I recommend Smile Whatever to anyone. An electic mix of music, anyone would find something to like about this CD. It is a rich blend of a variety of instruments from the violin to the harmonica. I especially enjoy the very moving Mia and the upbeat Up for Nights (a tune which seems to linger (pleasurably) in my mind for quite a while). If you like Folk music, CC Railroad delivers it with a sense of style.
