Another moving rendition written by the mother / daughter song writing team Beatty and Kline "Philadelphia" is a patriotic song dedicated to the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in honor of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History's Black History Month Proclamation Ceremony at City Hall in Philadelphia on February 4, 2009. The song was premiered at the City Hall Ceremony by the Country Day School of the Sacred Heart Choral Groups who also recorded the original version for the first time.
The Choral Groups are from the Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. The Choral Groups have performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kimmel Center, the Academy of Music and the former First Union Center as well as many tri-state venues. These all female choirs are known for their signature diction and vocal balance as well as their seasoned performance presentation.
