Album Notes

Ceann Live at Murphy's Grand Irish Pub in Virginia Beach, Virginia in the US of A. There comes a time in every bands story when they are flat out of ideas. There comes a time when the creative well has dried up and a band finds themselves wandering alone amidst the tumbleweeds of past clever ideas. For Ceann, that time is now. Cue the live album.

Actually, this album represents a unique opportunity Ceann had to to return to the bar where their professional careers as America's greatest folk rock super group began almost three years earlier. Question: How do you prove you have a fan base? Answer: Record your album at the beach in February. If people show up, you must not suck as much as your dad keeps saying you do. "It's Not Hard" was recorded over two sold-out nights at Murphy's Grand Irish Pub in Virginia Beach with the help of Larry Luther from Mr. Small's Recording in Pittsburgh.

Oh, and the guy playing bagpipes on the interlude? That's Hal the Piper, he's awesome. You should hire him.
