She's just soooooo amazing... I remember hearing her sing her first melodies from her first cd she burnt in humboldt one crazy morning after a major heart ache... her words lul me to a peaceful place.....she's just a talentend cutie and I'm lovin' her new cd.....

This Music Loves You
author: Martin Magdalene
I'm hesitant to call this album "sophisticated," because I don't want you to think this is some inoffensive dinner party background music, some schmaltzy muzak to ignore. But it really is sophisticated - it's complex and worldly without being aggressive. In fact, this is probably one of the gentlest albums ever recorded. I especially love it that the music invites you to slow down, invites you to pay attention, instead of throwing some melodic tantrum to catch your ear. And that voice! Cecily Raine has such a full sound to her voice, and she paints all sorts of cool, shimmering colours with it. I can't fault this - it's just beautiful.
