Album Notes

Celia Grace is a native of Portland, OR. When people think of Portland, they think of a beautiful city forever drenched in rain. Rare are the days of sun and warm breezes. But both aspects of the city do exist together in harmony, as do the lush chords and bittersweet lyrics of Celia's music.

Although Celia has being writing music since she began playing guitar at the age of fifteen, she has spent the last three years of her life helping other local musicians. She's done a million little (and a handful of big) things to do promote and support independent artists, most often found in the dimly lit corners of Portland's Bars paying her dues as "merch girl". Celia even spent a good year inside the guts of the city's guitars while working at Fearless Guitars, a small repair shop in NE Portland.

The Lovelust Recordings is an E.P. of three original songs. They were tracked by classmate Jesse McDonald at Portland Community College, where Celia earned her associates degree, focusing in music composition and audio engineering.

These songs are not love songs. They are songs about the lust for love and the heartbreak of lusting after something so simple and yet so complex.

Perfect
author: Jennifer Starr
Sure its only three songs, but I would much rather have three perfect songs than three songs separated by a bunch of terrible filler. Changing the Names is amazing. I can't stop listening to it.
