ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Cera Impala is a delicate and magnetic songwriter. Her voice draws audiences in while her songs take them on an enchanted journey across a wide range of emotions: joy, sorrow, misery, humor, wonder, love, & loss. As a performer, she is at home singing her songs both as a solo artist as well as supported by her band, the New Prohibition. She is also an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, comfortable on banjo, guitar, & ukelele, and has occasionally been known to pick some old-time mountain music with the Killbilly Boys (Berlin). She was formerly guitarist, singer, and contributing songwriter to the Blackberry Bushes Stringband (Seattle) before taking up residence in Berlin in 2007. Having just wrapped up production of her latest full-band CD "Higher Place", Cera is now giving birth to her second solo CD, "Pocket Songs: Tunes to Take With You".
Stay tuned!

Graceful, eerie...tragically beautiful,
It's like she's living with a back woods secret she's determined to keep."
~Victory Review (Seattle)
