Cher & Gene are releasing their new Christmas music as it gets recorded, so you get them "hot off the press"! With a full-length 2nd Christmas collection in mind, they've released these first four songs as a sampler of that forthcoming collection.
Beginning with two intimate renditions of two traditional pieces - "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" and "Ave Maria" - as simple piano and vocal, with help from a couple members of the Omaha Symphony, the sampler continues into a rockin' take on a traditional Spanish Christmas carol, "Los Peces en el Río," featuring a couple members of Mannheim Steamroller and Cher & Gene's "Fire Choir." Finally, the choir also joins in on Cher's original song, "I Am a Carpenter (Joseph's Song)," which was released last year, now included in this sampler.
