Chad Garrett is an incredibly talented singer and songwriter. At a young age Chad began listening for hours on end to the rock music of his favorite artist, Elvis Presley. With lots of practice, he was able to duplicate the sound so well that in his early 20s he was asked to perform demos of the rock music and ballads of other songwriters to submit to Elvis Presley for his recording.

Chad was elated to have the privilege of meeting with Elvis Presley in his trailer while Elvis was filming the movie Change of Habit with Mary Tyler Moore. Elvis asked Chad if it was him singing on a demo of a ballad. Chad replied that it was and he had done the best he could. Elvis smiled and told Chad - you sound more like me than I do.

Chad’s complete duplication of Elvis Presley’s voice and style is unequal to any other. One of Chad’s three albums available on CD Baby! and iTunes is Chad Garrett Sings the Elvis Tribute. The album is not mimicry but an uncanny replica of some of Elvis' most popular songs.

In addition to Elvis, Chad’s musical influences include rock and roll great Roy Orbison and the easygoing, charismatic sound of Dean Martin.
