"You let the world, which doesn't know the first thing about living, tell you how to live. You filled your lungs with polluted unbelief, and then exhaled disobedience. We all did it, all of us doing what we felt like doing, when we felt like doing it, all of us in the same boat. It's a wonder God didn't lose his temper and do away with the whole lot of us. Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us!" I know something of this incredible love.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Monica. I have two great kids, Chase and Emily. I have two pets; Happy, our special Beagle and Sugar, the best bunny rabbit ever. I have very loyal friends. I have a great family. I have a great job. I have a GREAT LIFE!

I believe God designed me with the capacity for having and doing great things. I also believe He has plans for me that are to be lived out in relationship with Him.

Now I could understand all of the blessings I experience if I were the guy who consistently lived in harmony with God's purposes, but unfortunately, I have not been that guy. Almost daily I give God a new reason to "smoke me." Why He doesn't I will never understand. The extravagance of His gift to me is way over my head.

This record represents the place I find myself in daily - fumbling for words. There is no way to adequately express my thankfulness to God for the immense mercy He has shown, yet I fumble for the words anyway.

I hope you will hear these songs and begin to notice the goodness of God as seen in your own life. Believe me, He's there. As you recognize this truth, I hope you will join me in fumbling for the words to say "Thank You."
