ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"The Early Years" takes the listener to the Sands hotel in Las Vegas. The year could be 1958 or 2008, so timeless is the music. The first song, "Mood Swing", sounds like a Beck scored Matt Helman film, with you in the starring role a la Dean Martin. You jump in your convertible and head down the Strip. "Ipso Facto" plays on the radio, lights are flashing, there are people everywhere and then She appears. As she crosses in front of your car you catch her eye and wink. She returns a smile. Ah, Vegas. It's all "About Sex" and you are the International Man of Mystery.

GROOVY STUFF BABY!
Chaise Lounge hammers out a really cool sound! Put your shades on and plug this one into your ride and it instantly converts into an Aston Martin V-12. This group has superb talent, singer, Marily Older sings with a sultry sexy sixities stereo sound that keeps the illusion of time travel alive. Certainly the ultimate in cool Lounge music!

Richard Reeves

This is stunning and so addictive it could, at some poit, be made illegal! I could listen to it all day.
Actually, I do... Marilyn Older's voice is beautiful.

Can't wait till their next album
There is not one song on this CD that will annoy you. I bet each song will grip your attention because of the excellent musicians and not forget the most beautiful and lovely voice of the singer!

If they decide to release a new album I hope they will record the song 'I wanna be like you'

Cool and Smooth
If you want Lounge, what more is there to say?

I can't stop listening!
I brought this on a road trip and we couldn't turn it off. The smooth, soft voice is in beautiful, pleasant contrast to the big band sound. All the songs are classics, but so unique that they are like new, but you could still catch the rhythm and sing along. I especially love "Burnin Down the House" and “One.”
I will be going to DC to see them. I am hooked! I’m so lucky to have found this album!

Old and New
This CD almost defies description. It's lounge. It's 60s pop. It's old. It's new. It's Vegas. It's New York. It's warm, like a sultery femme fatale. It's cool, like "Man, oh, man!" There's some Burt Bacharach in there, and some Summit sound. Nicely done and swings like, "Bond. James Bond.", cruisin' Route 66 with his latest Bond Girl. If the first few tracks don't grab you, then you're missing your handles. Well worth your dough.
