Sir Charles Hammer performed guitar music for over 35 years. He began at age 12 playing Beatles music and rock 'n roll. He lived in Mexico for 5 years in the 70's where he mastered the art of classical guitar and became fluent in Spanish.

Performer, educator and composer Sir Charles produced 10 CDs to his credit. "Romance" features solo classical guitar, however on such CDs as "It's Only Love" (instrumental arrangements of 18 Beatles tunes) he mixed it up; playing classical, electric, 12 and 6 string acoustic guitars. The music of Sir Charles Hammer is soothing, relaxing and uplifting at the same time.

Compositions from his CD "Gratitude" earned him a prestigious "Individual Artist Fellowship" from the Arkansas Arts Council in 1998, presented to him by the Governor. His greatest joy came from fans who said that the music helped them to relax, de-stress and Heal!
