Album Notes

Chance's End returns with the sophomore album "The Outsider". With this release, the violin stands front and center of a downtempo electronica landscape.

Tracks such as "Diamond in Disguise", "Morro Bay", and "Extension of a Nightvision" explore the melodic side of electronica in the style of Groove Armada. Whereas "Encounter" and "Production to Perfection" explore Hybrid-style breaks and Cirque De Soleil wall-of-sound production.

Fans of both electronica as well as violin music are sure to enjoy this album. Even tango and blues dancers will find something to dance to in "Oblivion", "Sullivan", and "Lintango".

The Outsider once again brings violin electronica to the masses, and its unique style is bound to turn some heads.

You may not have heard of Chance's End yet, but after hearing The Outsider, you'll know that violin-laced breakbeat electronica is too unique to ignore...

Argentine Tango
author: Don Cain
Hi Ryan. I first heard your music during a milonga at Emeryville's Allegro Ballroom. As you and your partner began to play your intro, my dance partner and I took up our Argentine Tango embrace. With your very first pull across that violin, I noticed a quick increase in her breathing. The music and the dance were wonderful. During a quiet moment in the music, I suddenly realized I could feel her heart racing. In that moment, my addictions to Argentine Tango and the music of Chance's End were both cemented. I later learned that captivating piece of music was "Extension of a Nightvision" from your "The Outsider" CD, and we could buy it through CDBaby.com. Thanks for sharing your music, I recommend your CDs to everyone who hears my music collection.
