Ducks in a Row

by Chancie Neal

One day I was on a photo-shoot with long time family friend Phil Robertson. Afterwards he asked to hear some of the songs I had been working on, so I sang “My Louisiana” for him. When I finished playing he said to me. “Chancie, Why don’t you write a song about us DuckMen? I think people would like it.” So I headed back to Nashville & got in the studio with Mike Mobley & Jimmy Melton and Ducks in a Row just came out… I have always found it easy to write about the things that are closest to my heart and I have to say that those Duck Men definitely are.

Album Notes
My name is Chancie Neal
Most of the time, the first time anyone hears my name they sing "Here's you one chance, Chancie don't let me down." ...which is kinda cool.
I entered this world on December 4th, 1994
I have 2 sisters and 2 amazing parents who are support me so very much. They will never know how much they have helped me and how much I appreciate it.
I'm a boots and jeans kinda girl
And I was raised on the back of a horse. No lie.
I'm one of those people who writes down every single goal.. even if they are far-fetched!
I've reached a bunch, but still have plenty more to go!
I was born and raised in Calhoun, La. It's a town that doesn't even have ONE stop light.
I pronounce Louisiana, Loozeanna
Needless to say... I'm country!...and proud of it!
And Yep, I definitely hunt!
I moved to Nashville, Tn. in June of 2010.
I. Love. It.
I'm not your average teenager.
I homeschool so I can do what I love during the day....
Which leads me to one of the most important things you should know.. and that is, I sing and write country music!
I'm glad God picked me to do it, because it's one of the most amazing gifts I've ever been blessed with.
It's given me the chance to write with writers such as Dallas Davidson, Ben Hayslip, Jeff Stevens, Rachel Thibodeau, Mike Mobley, Tim Johnson, Karen Staley, Rachel Proctor, Jennifer Kennard, Shane Minor, Phil O'Donnell, and many other wonderful songwriters who have helped me become the artist I want to be.
And also to open the Farm Tour for Luke Bryan. That is one thing I will never ever forget! He is one of my favorite people and talks more than I think.. ha
Luke is big part of the reason I moved to Music City. :)
I'm working on some pretty big things in NashVegas, so stay tuned.. if you want to, of course!!!
And don't forget to listen to my music!
