This CD is GREAT to listen to at work. I have to deal with alot of annoying people where I work & when I listen to this CD it calms me down and keeps my balistic side from emerging. I would recommend this CD to anyone who appreciates the calming effect of music. P.S. CHANMAN NEEDS TO COME TO UTAH!!!!!

CHANMAN...just the right remedy for that "Perfect Thirst"...

Every once in awhile a hybrid species of singer-writer- musician breaks through that evolutionary chain of talented musicians and lands on earth. Peter S. Chandler's latest CD "perfect thirst" landed directly in my bowl of alphabet soup and when I looked at the bottom of the bowl, the words buy me were formed by the macaroni. I was hungry so I nibbled on a sample of the "Coffee Song" and became immediately hooked on this CD. I ordered it that same night and kept a vigil at my mailbox until this work of Art appeared. I had never heard of Peter S. Chandler before, nor did I know what Ski Bum Music was about. In fact, I don't ski and to be honest with you, I'm not all that fond of snow. I do like new and different music though and that's why I ordered this CD. The "Coffee Song" is clever, witty, and will bring a smile to anyone's face who has ever agonized over choosing what kind of coffee to order. This song should be sung every morning before the bell sounds at work and it may very well become the new "National Anthem" in the workplace. Chanman is also an excellent WORDSMITH and in my opinion has a very interesting philosophy regarding life. I became a believer of the Chanman when I listened to the words of "Backstabber". This song makes you think about judging others and the consequences of doing so. Every song on this CD poses questions to the listener and makes one reflect on own their response. My favorite song on this CD is "Melancholy Wednesday". The Chanman has surrounded himself with a great backup singer. Sue Zajac compliments Chanman's unique voice style and adds depth to this CD. If you are looking for an album that is different and thought provoking then I suggest you add "perfect thirst" to the list of CD's to buy...... BOB PEPPLER
