REVIEWS

Catchy yet sophisticated in a sort of silly but genuine way!
author: Capital B
Great album all the way through. Many lyrics had me laughing hysterically. Great musical arrangement and the songwriting style is wonderful. Would recommend to anyone looking for an album that's fun and tasteful. The bands two singers each give the music their own flavor, giving this album a great balance between catchy indie pop and sophisticated silliness! "Go for it F**Ker!"

BUY THIS NOW!!!

I would not recommend this cd to anybody who has terrible taste in music... However, if you don't, then you should BUY IT NOW!!! I bought it two months ago and it's my go-to cd whenever I'm in a bad mood; it definitely has the power to pick you up from a rough day because its songs are so beautiful and quirky. As soon as you hear moon song you'll be hooked, all the way through to the bonus track off of the punk-ish remake of that all in the family theme song (those were the days).

Something fun and stimulating!

When the moons dreamy harmony hits your eardrum you start gently moveing your shoulders, nod your head and you wake up walking to the fridge grabbing your self a cold beer. Then fresh cool breeze goes through your teeth when trevor flys by while your batheig in the sun... I can hear some of my favourite bands playing on the back ground but still all channels. One of the most stimulating, upbeat and colourful album in a longtime, fun!!!

From the get-go, the Beach Boys echoes are priceless, endearing and so succulently mouth-watering, that those echoes alone can instantly hook you. But with influences drawn also from Jonathan Richman, Pavement and Fountains of Wayne, this nuance-rich, soaring yet crunchy dream pop is totally transfixing, entirely absorbing and invades the heart like a virus you'd welcome with open arms. Those little twinkles of early sixties pop and garage rock mixed together with today's indie quality makes The Channels one of our new favorite bands. How an album can be simultaneously adorable and profound is the question of the day- and The Channels are here to answer it.
