‘Sleepers Awake‘, Char's second album entices listeners with rootsy vocals that is full of mother/daughter harmony and captures your attention as both sing of peace and higher truth. From uplifting to passionate Char sing of higher truth and engage in the attempt to raise vibrations in the listeners ear than transcends through the physical body. Beatles fans will reminisce while listening to ‘Let It Be’ and tap their toes to the gospel swing ‘Wade in the Water'. The album keeps stirring inspiration as it features Amber Whitworth as debut soloist on ‘Waited ‘Til Noon’ a love song reveling in procrastination.

Char has taken her skills as a songwriter and musician beyond the college degrees that she holds. As a previous university guitar instructor she uses her training and music theory to write evermore intriguing songs. Char holds two Master Degrees from Oklahoma State University and Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Char has received recognition from Billboard's World Song Contest for the fourth track 'Peace' and was a semi-finalist in the 100% Music Songwriting Contest for 'Waited 'til Noon'. Complimenting Char’s credentials her daughter Amber holds a Bachelor Degree from Arizona State University in Arts and Performance.
