Album Notes

The perfect chronicle of a great tour.

A combo of a LIVE "Solo Acoustic" EP and "sneak Preview". Featuring songs from all three of Ian's previous CD's plus 2 new songs never before available.

Song info:

1)>>"Cleaning House" opens the Cd with a catchy storytelling style and bluesy vocal. A longtime fan favorite. It's Never been before available anywhere.

2)>>>"Tough To Balance"~Originally a full band straight rock-n-roller. Is now an alternately tuned and rearranged funky acoustic version of a song from his first CD. "...To Those Who Wait".

3)>>>"Some Rebellion"~ From the CD,"Long Hill Road". This is the way it was written.

4)>>>"Wishing Street", and(5)"Heavens'Key" from his excellent, "Wishing Street" CD were staples of the 2000-2002 tour.

6)>> Plus, the EP's closing track, "Sky Open Wide". Which is the only studio track featuring:
IAN CHARLES on Acoustic, a lingering ghost-like Pedal Steel and Vocal
Plus, ERIC LICHTER playing Hammond Organ and Bass.

This tune has been a show stopper in Ian's most recent concert performances and will be featured as one of the tracks on his upcoming full length CD for the coming in 2004.

This EP will be available for only the first pressing. It comes in a convenient, bio friendly slip case.

Catch it while you can.

~Thanks.

Keep it spinning. A good one at that.

I can't seem to help myself. I'm leaving this disc in my changer and it won't leave. I suppose I've left it as an open door policy. But, I have been hinting that I don't want it to leave. The sound quality is terrific./ I hope someday there are more songs from this show which make it to my changer.
