With well over 130,000 listeners, and downloads from hundreds of websites, and Internet radio stations, Singer-guitarist/keyboardist Charles Alexander sings and plays songs carefully chosen with a touch of Has His Own Style. Alexander Self described his style as break beat jazz; a unique exploration of jazz and progressive rhythm beats with influences ranging from Yemenite to hip hop to disco mixed with music composed of reggae, salsa, blues, Caribbean, smooth jazz, and slow R&B. With not knowing where to fit into the main stream music because his music was very new to the market, he released the album "Summer Fever" to crossover, and cover all the fields of music. Now With (3) Albums, and (2) Single CD's out on the digital markets he have set out to make the goals he once started come true with some of his songs that has hit the top spots on some sites. Charles Alexander started a Revue, with over 30 some musicians, and toured over 125 cities in the Southeast USA in the mid 70’s, and 80’s doing predawn shows on the college campus, and night clubs. He also appeared as an opening act for other large recording artists as well. Some of his music have been use by Large companies like HBO specials, and PBS for opening themes to some shows they have programmed.
