These guys have a unique, down-home sound that combines Texas honky tonk and polka.  There\'s great steel guitar and the song selection is eclectic.  I\'ve listened to both volumes and highly recommend them.  Although it\'s hard to describe them succinctly, I would say that if you like Ray Price, Bobby Flores, the Forbidden Pigs, Doug Sahm, Rodney Crowell, Brave Combo (and many others), these guys will prove copacetic, to say the least.  There\'s a genuine, raw quality that I really appreciate.  I don\'t know much about the players, but surmise that they\'ve picked up some influences in the Czech/German polka traditions of places like Gruene and New Braunfels.
