This is traditional soul with a couple of standard covers. This is the whaling of voices like the Dells combined with the crooning of voices like the Stylistics. You will hear the whole gambit of the musical influences that shaped me on this offering. There is the reminiscing of my parents teaching me to appreciate all music in such tracks as Tammy, and Unchained Melody. There is the celebration oh the carefree days of my childhood in "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". You will hear the longing for a return of lost love in "You'll Never Find Anyone" and the great soul classic "The Love We Had Stays On My Mind". My original offerings will reflect the influences of Smokey Robinson and Norman Whitfield. In all, the response to this CD has been better than I expected. I have sold out at every show I have done.
