Life Story is the beginning of a series of albums under the Life Story title to be released by Charles Pryor. New Birth represents the birth of a new sound and voice from Charles Pryor's trumpet. Pryor's Place has the unique sound of samba smooth jazz which was inspired by the a visit to Rio De Janiero. True Steppers is a hip hop style song for steppers which is a pro style of dance in Chicago. Life Story has an melodic horn line which captures the ear to make individuals think of their own life story. Everybody has a life story but none are the same. Working for knowledge is a thought process song which represents Charles's hard work to gain knowledge of music and video production. Powerful Decisions is the type of song to make individuals think before they make decisions which could have powerful results. Sad Days is a song dedicated to sad times in life. Feeling sad at times can represent a healing process. Going Home is a song dedicated to my fahter for his experience during the Vietnam War.
