Album Notes

NORTH SOUTH is the brand new album from Canadian born country-pop artiste CHARLIE ANGEL and features 16 infectious songs written by Charlie and several other celebrated songwriters from the U.K. Charlie (real name - Neil Cragleah) is a huge name on the North Wales country club circuit, where he now resides and he`s no stranger to Nashville either having recorded several of the new tracks there at Oakridge Studios with celebrated producer Simon Levine who co-produced the album with Charlie. The songs have also been recorded in Vancouver, where Charlie also has a home and at his very own Stoneley Studio in Dyserth, North Wales. The album includes the previously released classic SHE`S A LADY and 2 other tracks from the acclaimed 2002 EP I BELIEVE IN ANGELS as well as 13 brand new tracks resulting in a perfect marriage of country and 60`s pop with influences and references to the Beatles, Beach Boys, Hollies, Eagles, Mavericks and Buck Owens with the album`s title referring to a trip through 16 American states Charlie himself had at the age of 18 in a stolen Mustang ! Heavy touring and recording commitments mean the Charlie and his band have only one gig coming up in the UK in London in December but they hope to be back for an extensive tour of Britain in the Spring to promote the album.
