Charlie Cardinal,who now resides in the state of Washington, is originally from a small town in upstate New York. Charlie is one of three boys born to a World War Two hero and a wonderful country girl. From the time he was born, he has been exposed to country music at the many and frequent gatherings of friends and family. Charlie was born with natural rhythm, a keen ear and memory for music and a powerful voice which developed early. His love for music and singing has continue to be a major part of his life. Charlie learned to play the guitar by the age of 10 and from that point on there was no stopping him. He played in local clubs and events a verity of styles while in his teens. He was drafted into the Army in 1970. Even while in still in basic training he sang and played in the barracks for the other soldiers to calm them through the turmoil. While still in the Army he performed at a number of gatherings and events. Many of life experiences have given him inspiration for his songs and poems. Charlie Cardinal has performed all over the USA and Europe. He has recorded in Nashville with Emerald Records, American Sound Records and in Germany at The Session Studios, accompaniment in his recordings are artists such as DJ Fontana, Cliff Parker, Bobbie Vyson, Buzy Keats, Jim Baker, Duke Dumas and Christian Schumanski. His material has been review by Captital Records, Polydor Records and personally presented to both Garth Brooks and Ricky Skaggs. Charlie has also performed in local variety shows in California, the Hyatt Casino in Lake Tahoe, in Nashville and various other locations and in Europe. Charlie has years of experience as a performer, singer, songwriter and recording artist. This CD of 10 songs, written, produced and recorded by Charlie. Is a sample of some of his best work. He has written hundreds of songs and is now in the planning stage for his next CD release. Charlie is a world traveler he feels especially grateful for the endless support he has received from his many fans, friends, his wife and his children.
