Charlie's 3rd CD "What It Is.", released in January 2012, is already receiving critical acclaim. Brilliantly produced by Derek Chafin, this record features the country-rock flavored ode to simplicity "Little Things", the flat-out rocker "So Bad", the quietly contemplative and gorgeously arranged "Still Wind", and a nod to Charlie's Sound Of Philadelphia roots "Too Late To Pretend". The record closes with the cello-infused, open-tuned acoustic guitar floater that is the title track "What It Is.". What better way to end this aural treasure with the line "...thats all".
