Album Notes
"Safe In My Heart" is the debut album from Charlie Record. Consisting of songs written mostly while taking a songwriting course at Berklee College of Music, there is no denying the unique sound and intimate statement of Charlie's music. Instructor review phrases like "love this song," "wonderful chord progression," "sophisticated production" and "absolutely beautiful" were a weekly occurrence.

As a professional fine artist I enjoy listening to beautiful music from a variety of genres as I paint and i am frequently searching for new sounds and artists. Having discovered this debut album from Charlie Record has been a wonderful addition to my music library. His inspired melodies and sensitive, heartfelt lyrics reveal a strength and vulnerability seldom seen in new artists today. His music helps to soothe and set the tone for a relaxing yet stimulating experience in my painting studio. I highly recommend this album and I look forward to future releases from this talented new singer/songwriter.
