Bio:
Starting off in a drummer's garage in the fall of 2000, four kids from south Orange County began to create the music that influenced their lives. The original line up of Chaser consisted of Mike LeDonne, who pretty much got everything up and running by bringing up the idea of starting a band, and 3 other mutual friends from high school: AJ Latteri, Josh Millican, and Mike Denning (ex-guitar). After Mike D. went away to Hawaii for school, Mike L. picked up the task of guitar and vocals as things took off from there. Chaser soon began to spread their name and music all across Orange County, LA, San Diego, Riverside, Arizona, and Vegas while their fan base grew rapidly with each show. Then, by the end of 2002, another old friend from school, Nate Warner, was brought into the band to take over guitar leaving Mike with just vocals and everything was set from there. Chaser is doing everything they can to contribute to the punk scene and stay true to their roots while playing energy and emotion filled sets with infectious stage performances. They've earned the reputation of being one of the hardest working bands in O.C. by promoters and other local bands, while booking all shows and tours DIY. The main objective of this band is to let people know that even with the ever-growing number of bands that try to take the title of being "punk rock" but fall far from it, there is definitely still a scene and Chaser is making music to help keep it that way. By 2006 Chaser has played with many national acts, a few Warped tours, toured Europe and released the latest on Indie label Felony Records. They even added Cameron D. brother of original player Mike D. to fill the lead guitar role so that Mike L. can focus on the vocals and stage presence. Lastly, Chaser added new bassist Jesse Stopnitzky. The new songs have taken on a life of their own and can now be heard on the 2006 release Numb America.

Amazing much?

So August 13th, 2008, I wore a 'Free Hugs' shirt, & Jesse walked up to me, gave me a free hug & asked if I would listen to his band. (Well, me & my friend of course) So I did, it was like the second I heard it, I was in love. I bought the cd, they signed it for me, & got a t-shirt which they also signed. Not only are they great musicians, they're all so chill. They let us hang out in thier tent when we got too hot, which they didn't have to do. I brought one of my other friends back to listen to them, & she ended up buying the cd too! Great band, great cd. Bottom line, you NEED to get this! It's totally awesome!

You Cant Listen to it Just Once
author: Dave (myspace-Feigning Optimism)
I bought this CD when it came out and it hasnt left my CD player since. Great lyrics and guitar work, all working together with strong rhythm and drums. This is the punk I fell in love with and jumped in the pits for. The songs don't all sound the same. Each one has its own flow. This CD brings me back to the raw days of Pennywise, Deviates, and 98 Mute. If you like your punk with speed and an edge instead of the corporate whiny garbage that is being mass-produced today then NUMB AMERICA has to be on your shelf.
