From the City of Brotherly Love, the talented Connor Hansell writes highly infectious tunes that are perfect for that summer trip to the beach. Hansell and the Grits, proud natives of the Philadelphia area, combine influences such as Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, Willie Nelson and Talib Kweli to great effect. "I believe in writing music that my fellow people can relate to," he explains. "I feel that music is a way to spread my word to the masses. I take it personally to help spread a positive message, one that can help people, one that can influence righteousness, and love. I want my music to represent me, but I also want it to represent my listeners and supporters as well". Connor has teamed up with some incredible muscians for his debut ep "It's All Love" including his brother Graeme"The Guitar Guru" Hansell, and Tim Sonnefeld. "It's All Love" is a mix of so many different styles of music, including, raggae, folk, and hip hop, that cohisively come together with both lyrical and musical depth.
