The Chemistry Set:
Formed in 2002 by Stephen Duncan, Meredith Knoll, Cory Helms and Josh Hoover. The four met at a party and after finding common musical ground the band was born.
The debut self-titled CD was recorded in their house in Dallas over the course of 2003 and mixed at the Bass Propulsion Labs (Flickerstick, HiFi Drowning) with the help of Todd and Toby Pipes.

For the first time I ever heard this band was thanks to One Tree Hill. That scene where Peyton & Lucas kiss aand I played this scene over and over again.[not just to see how cute P&L are.. ;D]

Amazing album!

I'd heard two of the songs on somafm.com and had to track down the album. It's absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Gypsies and Vagabonds and Lee Minor 7 are the two standouts for me. Just as a note, I found that The Chemistry Set's second album is available for streaming from last.fm
