ANNA CHEPIKOVA- BIOGRAPHY

Anna Chepikova is an accomplished Classically trained Concert Pianist. She was born in Leningrad (St-Petersburg), Russia. She started playing piano at the age of 3. She won her first Grand Prize at the P.I. Tchaikovsky's "Album for the Young" Competition in St-Petersburg at the age of 9. Anna had her first radio & TV recording session at the age of 9 as well. From an early age, Anna had an ability to improvise on the piano & to play by ear. Anna performed at Philharmonic Halls and has won numerous piano competitions. She has been performing as a Solo Piano Performer in Russia, Finland, Sweden, Italy.

Anna has her Master's Degree in Solo Piano Performance from the St-Petersburg State Music Conservatory, Russia. Since 1996 she has been performing in the United States. Anna can play Piano in any style & performs for numerous occasions.

Anna Chepikova's new CD called "My Life Flows on in Endless Song" is a beautiful collection of very popular Christian songs that Anna improvises on. This is a truly unique CD, because all the arrangements were composed & played by Anna "on the spot" during an actual recording session. You will never be able to hear the exact same improvisation twice, because all of the notes come out naturally while playing the piano!
