Cherie Lassiter is a singer/songwriter from Raleigh, North Carolina.
Her first Cd, Heart Shadows is a unique fusion of Celtic,folk and New
Age. It has been recieved well locally as well as internationally. Heart Shadows reached number 16 on the Folk charts at American Idol Underground and is also in rotation at Circle of Souls internet radio. She is currently co-hosting Starbucks Live in Raleigh,NC.

Cherie has performed locally and statewide as a solo artist and with
various bands. She has recorded with other local artists such as Joyce
Bowden on her release, Jolei, and also Rick Brockner's, Daughter of
the Acoustic Revolution, released this year.
Cherie has also performed with local bands playing rock to
Renaissance. She has traveled statewide to Rennaissance Faires where
she transports the listener to other times and worlds. Heart Shadows
is a popular Cd for massage practitioners and other healing venues. It
was produced with Robert Starling and a few tracks with her brother,
Rick Lassiter who's last solo release, "Songs for the Unconsoled" is
an internationally loved collection of beautiful compositions.
Cherie is currently recording a new Cd to be released
next year. It has more of a folk-pop-rock flavor. It is more
progressive and contemporary.
