Album Notes

A singer since the age of three, and a musician/songwriter since the age of eight, Julie Chesser has combined the two and the result is destined to rock the music world!

Raised on piano and guitar, this singer/songwriter's music reflects the musical passions that inspired her in youth. Listeners can expect to hear the influences of folk, rock, and pop, yet still find they are listening to something completely unique and difficult to define. The experiences and influences of her life, have given her the ability to craft beautifully written melodies and catchy tunes.

Accompanying her on the album you will be able to hear David Freund, a very talented singer and keyboardist. He backs her up with hands that fly over keyboards and amaze every listener.

Hard work and tenacity - as well as a strong "DIY" work ethic - are what lie at the center of Julie Chesser's exploration of music. No quick steps to "success", just great songs, sung by a powerhouse vocalist with heart, with an outgoing personality and the ability to touch every person who hears her sing.

The following are some reviews from people who know Julie or have heard her music:

Julie,
So glad someone in the family had the opportunity to share the "King" talent. Tell your Mom and Dad (I'm sure they know) that they should be very proud. Wonderful website and hoping the very best for you.

It sure could happen for you

I just wanted to let you know that you really have something there. I love your melodic sensibilities, the way you put your lyrics together, and your voice truly is beautiful. It has charm and maturity that combines in a way which would allow you to be unique and recognizable, away from the pack, if you had mass exposure. The producer in me not only hears what is there, but also the potential of what you would sound like in a full professional environment. Million Ways and Falling Down particularly caught my interest today. So much so that I ran the stream through the big speakers and plugged in one of my electrics to play along. I was putting a guitar arrangement on the songs that gave them an emotional, but cutting edge feel, similar to what you would hear on a current professionally produced alt-rock love song. It sounded really good!!! Yes Julie, you would sound great in a pro setting! I wish I could tell you that because of your obvious talent it's a sure bet that someone will discover you and it will all happen. But I've been through the inside of the music world, and it's a bizarre place! But wow, it sure could happen with you. I definitely say keep at it.
