Album Notes

if you can't get enough of down home southern fried cookin' or countryfried tunes to match, this collection of richard murrey penned songs will satisfy whatever your taste or earbuds crave! that's richard's brother tony on the cover... heppin' hissef to a mess of joint compound! actually a self-portrait he did for his on-line dating service... and we're happy to report many responses were received and he's still accepting applications and interviewing young healthy vixens to hep him with the "joint" compound. we digress, we're very grateful for being able to use his pic for the cd cover... it does so fit the title, "countryfried"... 'cause sometimes that's what happens out in the vastness of this great agri-conomy... you kinda lose it now and again. whenever you hear a sweet steel guitar, you'll know tony paoletta is massaging the notes... tim lorsch throws in a mean fiddle/dobro too. once again, steven cooper produced! enjoy.

"she rocked my country"... you're classic country, she comes along with her rock 'n roll and the sparks fly!

"singin' to hear myself"... as a performer, it seems this way sometimes... but you make the best of it.

"i'll forget about you"... easier said than done.

"lovebugs on the windshield of life"... a florida song... for florida bug lovers!

"rhythm of life"... life is good, sweet and what it should be, then there's a missing piece and the rhythm goes all off on you!

"cheatin' on a memory"... even a memory can be powerful and you might need to get permission?

"can i love you more"... is it possible to love someone "more"?

"travelin' guitar man"... we've all known people who are genius but are comfortable in a place we just can't comprehend.

"i'm trusting you"... a spiritual rocker about just who and why we trust each and every day.

"you're why i'm still here"... you stick around for only one reason, hoping you'll realize a dream someday.

"walkin' my heart"... you think you do everything right and then something happens, but you ain't giving up on love!

Wake up Nashville!!!

She Rocked My Country has a wonderful two-step boogie beat that would be awesome to dance to out at the pubs and bars! Love it! Singing To Hear Myself is traditional easy flowing country… while I’ll Forget About You is a slow melody with memorable lyrics and Lovebugs is a cute robust song, quicker beat, almost up to a two-step, maybe a bit easier two-step groove if that makes sense, take a listen and see! Rhythm of Life great country song! Lyrically and musically this is a fantastic tune. Great job guys! Cheatin’ On a Memory is slow and melodious, country lyrics about loving and remembering. Can I Love You More mid tempo and lyrically visual… cool piece! Great tune and memorable. Travelin’ Guitar Man is an awesome piece of guitar work, reminds me of Dwight Yocum a bit, sure would love to hear him play it! I’m Trusting You is a slow thoughtful ballad. Nice tune guys! Walkin My Heart is gutsy and raw, love the guitar work on this one! Super duper!
