a collection of songs penned during the sierra/owens valley period. just beginning to regain the use of my emotional faculties and cataloging all those experiences. some good, some not so... but all together, a very good case study of the elasticity of the human spirit. produced by steven cooper. here's what's on the platter...

"ramblin' kind of girl"... an independent woman who has her sights set on another way of living, but that doesn't mean her loving has changed.

"let's work it out"... how the little ones get wedged in between our domestic egos and the sacrifices that should be made for them.

"stupid, that's for me"... when you finally realize you're an idiot and have been all along.

"lyin' next to me"... deception of the human heart. but forgiveness is not far off. lance miller tells us the story.

"mr. don't give a damn"... some pain and betrayals you just can't get over.

"turn me loose"... never know what you'll bump into at the grocery store, those chance, random meetings.

"my baby's eyes"... the most hardened heart can be changed by new life.

"the cheatin' kind"... no matter what you do or say, some folks just gotta have that extra ego attention and totally ignore true love.

"nothing between us"... some relationships can't survive the past memories. they're stuck there and can't move on.

"she's a beautiful girl"... amazing what a little time and growing up can stimulate.

"why can't i love you if he won't"... it's a legitimate question, and one that deserves an answer.

"ain't no maybes about it"... how the party lifestyle can end a relationship.
