Album Notes

The evolution of the Chevy Ford Band has brought them to the crossroads of destiny. This collection of tunes (number 28 to be exact) finds the band not really caring about anything other than just playing the best music they can. All they can ask is that you enjoy the journey with them.

Here's the 12 tunes penned by Richard Murrey and once again produced by Steven Cooper...

"dogma"... belief systems and how they are manipulated to direct segments of the human herd to produce the desired effects for the elite few who actually set up the belief systems. we wonder if they really believe what they create?

"at a loss for words"... when emotions run rampant, the tongue and brain sometimes can't get it together!

"this restaurant"... ah yes, planet earth... the "good turn" eatery, 24/7/365!

"one day"... all the catch phrases every band and musician has heard a million times... and it's all bullshit right?

"for the little ones"... if our youth is our future, we'd better start living like we have one!

"touchmedown time"... some dudes look forward to the gridiron season!

"ain't workin' blues"... a simple reaction to the economic matrix being forced upon us here in the U.S.S.A. (United Socialist States of America).

"attention deficit disorder"... maybe peeps are just stressed out by factors and situations in their daily lives or maybe they're just stupid?

"lorem ipsum"... and you thought it was just greeking text to show where actual copy would go? all you graphics peeps out there feel me, right dawg?

"butterside down"... scientific research has proven that 85% of the time, your buttered toast will land this way, just like life, so deal with it.

"when i dream"... creator and king of your own paradise... we all need to escape sometimes.

"energy"... we all need it, but will there be enough?

the chevy ford band is still:
bubba hudson - vocals & guitar
jeff jordan - lead guitar
steven cooper - keys/drums
richard murrey - bass
special guests: john heinrich - saxophone
britt savage - lead vocals on "for the little ones"

REVIEWS

I listen to this CD over and over again!
author: ChevyFordBandFan
To say I love all of the songs on this CD would sound like I'm your ultimate fan or something, but yes, I do love 'em all! I don't think there's another song out like Dogma, lyrically it's so profound, cool, striking, and so on. Really gets one moving and thinking. Then Ain't Workin' Blues is a fantastic tune to dance to while blowing off a little steam about how I'm currently not workin. Butterside Down is pretty reflective of how I'm feeling right now in this ridiculous economy. When I Dream then picks me right back up! Energy is completely relevant with what's going on in regards to our nations energy policies and how we must get away from foreign oil. In fact, do away with oil all together, leave what's left of it in the ground and promote green initiatives. At any rate, I'm hugely addicted to this uncompromising CD. Outstanding effort once again guys. For the Little Ones is so sweet and lovely, full of love. Touchmedown Time is a riot, funny, and true! Attention Deficit again, relevant and true. Lorem Ipsum may go over a lot of people's heads but anyone who is a graphics person, web content, or writer/editor will definitely GET IT. LOL Fantastic. Rock on!!!
