this is a special collection put together over the years of richard murrey's writing and recording in the studio. sometimes a song just needs another point of view, a different twist, an angle from the feminine side of life. this is where the guest vocalists on this project stepped up to make a song something more than special... and an inspiration to the guys playing the tracks. once again, steven cooper produced. writer richard murrey was joined in the writing of the second cut, "wonderin'" with his wife sheila. there's more where this came from... a short description of the tunes on this collection:

"one of these nights"... a bluesy offering warning the guy to be careful because one night she won't be there for him after he's come home from a night on the town... sound familiar?

"wonderin'"... what he might really be like next to her? just wonderin'.

"a little bit naughty"... a lady who's refined, educated, formal, but yet... there's a little streak of naughty in her too! you know some ladies like that right?

"i've lost what she just found"... title says it all... the realization that she's no longer the love of his life.

"take it back baby"... tells us he changes his mind, he knows he screwed up, he wants to come home and she struggles with what to do.

"grandma & the aliens"... the night they came, they liked grandma's cooking, they took her on a ride... they'll bring her back, eventually.

"always a part of me"... this tune about a lost love and how some emotions will never be the same.

"your jeans look good tonight"... she's missed this guy, she likes how he moves and what he can do for her, so she's focused on the prize.

"his place"... she went away and left him, the home and happiness, but why? do we ever figure out why she never called? a mystery.

"a little bit redneck"... they say opposites attract... about her redneck man, that she's still in love with.

"our next kiss"... on the verge of splitting, letting it all go, but hey, let's try falling back in love with the next kiss? it might work.

"thinkin' like a woman"... can a man be trained to do certain things? he can but not entirely which is a good thing for her! we all know who's trained now don't we?

"countin' the stars til morning"... about going out to the edge of town with her lover man and countin' the stars til the morning finds them.

"call me"... call her when he's tired of being used and tricked into situations just to be hurt time and time again... her number's in the book.

"i ain't fallin' in love"... she's not going to fall for anyone else... not until he comes around... patience is such a virtue huh?

"your magic"... about the magic of true love and how sometimes, it's just too hard to explain in words.
