Album Notes

We're Chicago Overcoat, a good old fashioned rock-and-roll band that's not from Chicago at all. Encompassing the dynamic talents of Emmett Stanley, Taylor Vaughan and Wyatt Banks, Chicago Overcoat is the greatest band with Chicago in the name that has ever not come out of Chicago. Most people say we sound a lot like the Pixies, but our songs have been described as sounding like The Clash, The Offspring, The Pixies and Johnny Cash. Take from that what you will.
