Repertoire
Winners of 2003 Northern Harmony a cappella festival, the CHICKAdivas cover a range of genres. The CHICKAdivas impress the audience with the harmonies of well-known standards and their original arrangements and songs.

Heritage: The CHICKAdivas began with an interest in Canadian folk music from various regions across the country: Klondike saloon songs, Newfoundland sea-shanties, prairie settlement songs, Quebec folk songs and the all-time favourite “The Logdriver’s Waltz”.

Jazz and Pop: A variety of music in different styles and from different eras keeps our audience’s toes tapping. From “Under the Boardwalk” to “Sweet Dreams”, the CHICKS have the right repertoire mix for your event.

Christmas: From traditional carols to swing, we’ve got all the music you need for a festive Christmas!SoundWhatever the song style, the CHICKAdivas set a high musical standard. All members are experienced singers who have an ear for a good vocal production and blend. The result is a sweet, rich sound.

WINTERSONG is the CHICKAdivas' first Christmas CD, featuring seasonal selections that will accompany you through the festive season. From carols to swinging pieces, lullabies and hum-along tunes, this CD is sure to become a favourite in your collection. The title track "Wintersong", is based on the German Christmas carol "Leise rieselt der Schnee" and was arranged by CHICKAdiva Rebecca Patterson, with English lyrics by CHICKAdiva Regina Landeck. Another Patterson arrangement is the French-Canadian carol "Entre le boeuf et l'ane gris".
