ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Chickpeas are easily described as the hottest tasty rock on the whole dang block, just like chunky peanut butter spread over hot cherry pie. Born and raised just outside Philadelphia, PA, Chickpeas bridge a high energy rock performance with classic rock musical stylings and never fail to impress, surprise, and entertain.

The band's debut album "Lickety Split" was recently released in early April 2003, the culmination of 3 years working as a band. Containing 13 tracks of original music, the self-released "Lickety Split" shows off Chickpeas diverse musical style, humor, and influences. The album rolls along from the bouncy 'Chicks Dig It' to the poignant 'Rock Stars Are Dead'.
