Award winning songwriter/singer James Chiello has been seen on such shows as "Passions" and movies such as "Blow" and "Vanilla Sky". He currently has 4 cds in distribution and more coming. He was discovered while working as a waiter at the 4and20 Pie shop in North Hollywood California. Adrianne Leon, seen as "Brook Lynn" on General Hospital was dining with her mother and first manager, Meredith Day, when they spotted James and asked him if he was a performer. Meredith Day signed him to a development deal and the rest is history.

James is working on a release for the benefit of charity with actor/drummer/guitar player Michael Welch (Luke Girardi on Joan of Arcadia) and Rob Day (from Watch My Life)

Growing up in Rochester New York, James many times trudged through the rain pushing his amp and keyboard to gigs.

His songwriting comes from his heart and is reputed to be the most romantic lyrics of the time.

Listen for his contest "Win a night out with James" on Star 98.7 radio in Los Angeles in January. Enter for a chance to win a "Hollywood Night" with James.

James grew up in Rochester New York. When in high school he would carry his keyboard and amplifier on the bus across town to gigs. Many times he would trudge through the rain dragging his amp (on wheels) with his keyboard balanced on top to get to the gig.

His influences are varied. From Classical to rock and back again.

James writes on both guitar and Piano, performs on piano.
