this is pure rock. who needs deeper meaning? two tracks however do work there way towards a blues meaning."you make me feel like drinkin again"and "high on you" offer inocent stories about bad luck and women. having more in common with ac/dc than good ol southern tradition,this band puts out a good bit of energy.It can grab you by the bootstraps
and pull you out of any funk you have been in. this band has alot of fire and hangs a powerful emotional effect apon its audience.

there could only be one thing better then listening to this bands newly released cd titled hammered and that would be to see them live. plain to see why this cd was nominated for best album of the year at this years la music awards. i've known roadtooth record recording artist chigger red was no stranger to the music industry.but hammared is pure talent packed with incredible song writting and the most awesome guitar playing i've heard.put that all together and this cd,is all good and more!
