Our work on this EP began in November 2011 when we started recording demos with producer, Jonathan Beveridge. In May, 2012 the equipment was packed in the trailer and the band headed to the wilderness for five days with the sound engineer, Tim Helfrich, and Jonathan Beveridge to begin tracking. With only five days reserved, we worked around the clock, taking turns sleeping, eating really unhealthy food and pulling pranks on each other.
Throughout the summer, the band traveled back and forth to our producer’s studio where we recorded lead vocals, harmonies, and auxiliary percussion tracks. In late summer, our friends got together at a local country club to record group vocals to be used on the album.
Our producer spent the late part of summer and early fall mixing our songs to perfection. In the meantime, we worked with professional graphic designer, Tony Oshlick, in creating our album artwork and promotional materials. Production of the album was completed in November 2012 and we finalized plans for our November 11th Ep Release Party at The Kent Stage.
