Chip Mergott has been described by Bonnie Raitt as "one of my favorite songwriters," but in recent years has also become know for his guitar instrumental work, particularly on the cds "Hymns for Acoustic Guitar" and "Silent Night, Christmas Carols for Acoustic Guitar."
