Album Notes

Steve is a Northeasterner with a southern soul. He's spent large chunks of time living in Texas and South Carolina and visits South Louisiana on a regular basis, visiting friends and soaking up the cajun/ creole culture that he loves. This c.d. marks his debut. It's been produced by Fred Gillen, Jr. and features a fine group of folk artist from the NYC area such as Steve Kirkman, Laurie MacAllister and Abbie Gardner (from RED MOLLY) Anthony Da Costa, Andy Ladue, Nikos Brisco and multi-instrumentalist Dennis Lichtman. The C.D. is a blend of folk, folk-pop, country, cajun and Americana.

This CD was well worth the wait. A wonderful variety of stories, character studies and vignettes...all set to great American music ranging through quiet ballads, rollicking Country, Cajun Waltz, Folk and more. One thing's for sure, every tune seems designed to just make you feel good! Heartily recommended!
