Album Notes

Already a successful composer/performer, Chris Adams had a string of successful Albums to his credit when he was hired to perform at the first of what was to be three British H3 Festivals. John Whitbread is the main singer on this Album and Jenni Leigh-Smith also adds her vocal efforts to the project. They were part of the solid Team Chris had built up and they jelled very well in the Studio as well as on stage.
"So Far" has a strong religious theme to it but is not considered by Chris as Christian Music, but rather a Christian Theme to bind the various songs and tunes together. He uses a mix of both Electric and Acoustic Guitars as well as an electronic Keyboard to create the might and power of "My Salzberg", an impressive piece which suggests a full Orchestra is present.
Chris Adams has a mainly guitar focused style and a great ability to attach emotion to his work. Each Album is completely different with fresh themes. His
"Under The Northern Lights" and "Night At The Oasis" Albums demonstrate the variety of styles, sounds and ideas he creates in his Home Studio in Scotland.
This Album, "So Far" is just a mid-point review of how far he had progressed from 1999 to 2003. You can expect a lot more fromChris in the future and can be assured every new release will be different in style, theme and even Genre.
