Burden The Hand
A collection of 7 songs about the state of things. Mine, yours & everyone in between.
These songs comprise Bailey's first release since moving to the west coast. Burden The Hand was recorded somewhere between the sleepy beaches of Ventura, California and the bright lights of Hollywood.
Moving songs about moving on.
This soulful presentation is sparse but not spare. Bailey calls upon his vintage blues and folk influences to craft an album that is sure to resonate with listeners. A mostly acoustic venture, all parts were performed and recorded by Bailey. Again pulling-off his signature "living room" intimacy. Even though all parts were played by one man - it sounds as though there are several musicians sitting in a circle, laying down the vibe.
Fresh yet familiar delivery with a timeless approach.
REVIEWS:
"Sparse production reveals intimate tunes that would work nicely on a big stage or your best friend's living room." -Fran Snyder (concertsinyourhome.com)

Voice of season

Stumbled on this album and then took the trip. Bailey has a voice that is seldom in todays music and has an instant fan in me. I have shared the music and encouraged my fellow music lovers to check out his material. This album is a collections of acoustic gems that last 2-3 minutes on average. However, the creative percussion and instrumentation spearates this from most singer songwriters you will hear. A while back Alice in Chains put out an album titled SAP that was in the same vein. Burden is a perfect way to get to know the rawest side of Bailey, I look forward to hearing all of the future recordings.
