Album Notes

11 songs. Release date: May 24, 2010

A new solo album by Chris Charles featuring 11 new songs.

On this album Chris has given us a new party song; “Marijuana, Wine and a Woman,” a new drinking song; “I Need A Drink,” and a new anthem for the environmental movement; “Nowhere Else To Go.”
But the most political song on the album has to be the title song:
“No More Guns.”

In it Chris raises the constitutional question; Should we really all have a constitutional right to own a gun? Is this really the best way to go in the 21st century? What seemed like a good idea to the founders of the country in the 1700’s may need to be re-thought. But because of the NRA,
that debate will probably never see the light of day. They will block any proposed legislation to change it. The price of course, is that we will continue to have incidents such as what happened at Columbine and Virginia Tech. That will be the price we pay.
