Chris Dane Owens is a Los Angeles native who distills many of his city's musical styles into one unique brew. Pop melodies mingle with rock guitars, driving beats, and the occasional gleam of techno-wizardry. With confident songwriting, Chris performs modern rock tracks that are crafted with uncompromising care along with producer and collaborator Damian Valentine (DamianValentineMusic.com) who was formerly with the band Bolt Upright, on the Sony 550 label.

Powerhouse mixers Chris Garcia (Carlos Santana, Michelle Branch, Dido) and Bryan Golder (Will Smith, Guns N’ Roses, Johnny Cash) step up to add their personal touch to the BLUE STONE album. Owens comments: “Making this record has been the most impassioned time of my life. My hope is that people will resonate with the music, find a connection to my lyrics, and be entertained and uplifted by my music videos”.

This 2-disc Cd-DVD set includes the spectacular new music video “Shine On Me” (the first installment of a trilogy) that has been called “The Best Video Of The Year” by Sasha Frere Jones at the New Yorker. The romantic adventure music video was directed by Academy Award winning special effects artist Robert Short, whose feature film credits include; “Splash” “E.T.” “Beetlejuice” “Ace Ventura”.
