Album Notes

Chris Denem is a singer/songwriter with a style that could be classified as Americano/Classic Country Rock. He has attracted a loyal following in the Northeastern U.S. and is based in Western Pennsylvania.

Chris’ 2004 album, "Heart of Stone", features a beautiful live string quintet on five tracks and was recorded exclusively in Nashville. The mix was engineered by the legendary Jim Cotton (Alabama, Lacy J. Dalton, and countless others)at Emerald's 16th Avenue Studio.

As a studio singer, Chris has recorded close to 60 of his own original songs, plus has recorded company hype tapes for notable establishments such as: Allied Fisher Scientific, Mellon Bank, and Pittsburgh Parade of Homes. He also recorded a commercial for Western Pennsylvania Volvo Dealers which aired on Pittsburgh Radio and TV for six years.

Chris recently recorded six more original songs at the Tracking Room of Emerald Studios in Nashville. The project was produced and engineered by Butch Carr.
